About Me
For those of you who don't know me, I am a professional website developer and computer programmer. I have lived in Lexington, Kentucky, since graduating from Morehead State University in fall of 1998 with a BBA in Computer Information Science.
My certifiable computer geek status began with a fascination of websites and the internet in general. I kept wondering how words and symbols ended up being illustrated so nicely on the web. That was when I started learning how to write codes and develop websites. College degree aside, I am largely self-taught; passion and interest can take me a long way. Because the internet is constantly changing, my style and technique is always evolving to keep up with users' changing tastes.
I became a Visual Basic Programmer in 1997, building desktop programs that interact with databases including Access, SQL, and Betrieve. I personally design these programs to meet the specifications and needs of each individual client. Anything I can do to help improve my clients' efficiency and work flow benefits not only their business but my business, as well.
This computer stuff is fun, but all work and no play would make Chad a dull boy. Surprisingly, I do have a life away from my computer. In my spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball, working out, and listening to music. I am a movie buff and like watching low-budget horror flicks most of all (aka cheesy b's). I am somewhat of a social butterfly, and you will more than likely see my face somewhere out on the town. If you see me, stop me and say hi. I love to meet new people and can always use more friends. (And clients, too--so spread the word about my web work!)
